about

"Inspired by early american folk and blues musics, Bo Diddley, the early sun-recordings, the weirdness of Captain Beefheart's blues, and the Bruce Springsteen album "Nebraska" Lantern creates a dark, raw desolate, blues, in their ultra-minimal, debut." - RSTB

Recorded in the last months of Zachary's time in Montreal. Lantern was started shortly after Zach began losing interest in writing for his previous project, Omon Ra II. This record documents the best of Lantern's start as a bed-room project.

All recordings done by Zachary Devereux Fairbrother. All Tracks written by Zachary Devereux Fairbrother except I'm Happy written by Hasil Adkins.

This EP was originally released as a C30 cassette on Electric Voice Records.
